Vaporesso Armour Ultra Mod

The Vaporesso Armour Ultra Mod is the standalone Vaporesso mod and box-mod sibling of the kitted Armour Ultra. Same 5500mAh integrated battery, same 100W AXON Boost chipset, same triple ruggedisation (IP68 + IP69K + MIL-STD-810H), but sold mod-only with no tank in the box.

Pair it with any 510-thread sub-ohm tank, RTA or RDA from your own collection. The Armour Ultra Mod belongs to the wider Vaporesso Armour range as the rugged box mod option for vapers who already own the tank they want to use.

The difference vs the kitted Armour Ultra Kit is what ships in the box. The Kit includes the matched iTank T sub-ohm tank and two GTi coils.

The Mod listing strips the tank out for vapers who want to bring their own. Output, chassis, screen, charging and ruggedisation are identical.

The wider Vaporesso brand is owned by SMOORE. Genuine UK stock, with seven colour finishes carried over from the Kit line-up. A Mod bought aftermarket can be paired with an iTank T later for the matched-look option.

5500mAh Battery and USB-C 9V Fast Charging

The 5500mAh internal battery is the same one fitted to the kitted Armour Ultra. At 45 to 55W on a 0.4 ohm coil through a 510 sub-ohm tank, expect approximately two days of mixed DTL vaping between charges. At 60 to 75W on a 0.2 ohm coil that drops to roughly a day and a half.

USB-C charging accepts 9V/2A or 5V/3A inputs and refills the device flat to full in approximately one hour. Pass-through vaping works while the kit is plugged in for short top-up sessions, so there is no downtime mid-day.

AXON Boost Mode, Pulse and ECO

Five modes sit on the AXON chip inside the mod. Smart reads the resistance of whichever coil you screw in and lands the wattage automatically. Boost Mode pushes peak power for the first second of every puff to deliver a punchier hit through the start of the inhale.

Pulse Mode holds power steady for consistent flavour across the puff length. ECO Mode caps output to extend battery life on long days.

Temperature Control limits dry hits on stainless and Ni200 coil builds. Mode switching uses the on-screen menu or by holding the fire bar and pressing up or down.

IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H Triple Ruggedisation

The mod inherits the same triple ruggedisation standard as the kit version. IP68 is dust-tight and water-resistant to one metre submersion for approximately 30 minutes. IP69K is the higher bar against high-pressure water jets at temperatures up to 80 degrees Celsius, useful around outdoor cleaning gear or worksite washdowns.

MIL-STD-810H is the US military drop and shock standard at 1.2m across 26 separate impact angles. If you ride, walk or work outdoors and a regular box mod would not survive, this is the box mod Vaporesso designed for those conditions.

510 Thread for Any Sub-Ohm Tank or RTA

The 510 connection on top of the device fits flush with most 25mm-base sub-ohm tanks and accepts wider 26mm tanks with a small visible overhang. Any 510-thread sub-ohm tank, MTL tank, RTA, RDA or single-coil rebuildable fits. The natural matched pairing is the Vaporesso iTank T from the kit version, which uses the GTi mesh coil platform.

Replacement coils for the iTank T sit inside the Vaporesso coil range, and the spare glass tube is also stocked. For wider 510 options, the sub-ohm tanks collection covers the major brands. Single-coil RTAs and squonk-style RDAs all fire cleanly up to the 100W ceiling.

0.96-Inch Colour OLED Display

The 0.96-inch colour OLED on the side panel shows wattage, real-time battery percentage, current coil resistance, the active mode and a puff counter, all at a glance. Five clicks of the side fire bar turns the Armour Ultra Mod on or off. Three clicks locks the screen so the wattage cannot change in a pocket or bag.

Up and down keys step wattage in 1W increments. Holding fire while pressing up or down cycles between Smart, Boost, Pulse, ECO and TC modes without needing to enter a menu.
