Vaporesso GT Replacement Mesh Coils

Vaporesso GT coils are sub-ohm mesh replacement coils made for the legacy NRG sub-ohm tank family. Six variants span 0.15 ohm up to 0.4 ohm and cover wattages from 30W through to 110W, sold as a press-fit 3-pack across every resistance. GT sits as one of Vaporesso’s older sub-ohm coil platforms within the wider Vaporesso replacement coil range.

The NRG-series tanks the GT coils fit are no longer in production. The coils remain available so vapers still on original Vaporesso hardware can keep their tanks going. Mesh heating elements cover more wick surface than wrapped wire, which pushes flavour and vapour density from the first puff to the last.

Pair these coils with 70VG or higher shortfill e-liquids for the cleanest wicking at sub-ohm wattages.

GT Coil Resistance and Wattage Guide

The GT range spans six distinct mesh coils, each tuned for a different wattage band and vaping style. Use the table below to match the coil to how you vape.

The GT2 at 0.4 ohm is the most forgiving on e-liquid consumption and battery life, suiting 60/40 or 70/30 mixes at mid wattage. The GT6 at 0.2 ohm is the all-rounder of the range. It works at lower wattages for a restricted DTL pull and ramps up cleanly to 100W when you want bigger clouds.

The GT8 at 0.15 ohm only earns its place above 60W and pairs best with max-VG shortfills. The original GT Mesh at 0.18 ohm is the warmer flavour-led pick if you stay in the 65 to 80W band.

GT Mesh Coil Compatibility

GT coils fit every tank in the Vaporesso NRG sub-ohm family. The NRG SE and NRG Mini share the same coil socket as the full-size NRG, so a single coil type covers your whole legacy NRG kit collection.

These tanks originally came with the Vaporesso Luxe sub-ohm kit (the older mod, not the Luxe X pod kit). They also came with the Swag 2, Revenger, Polar and Cascade kits ,all NRG-tank mods.

Does Not Fit

GT coils do not fit any current Vaporesso pod kit, sub-ohm tank or pod-mod. If your kit has the coil sealed into the pod body, you are on the COREX platform and need replacement pods, not replacement coils. If your tank is engraved iTank, iTank T, GTR, SKRR or SKRR-S, you need a different coil family.

GT coils only fit the legacy NRG-style tanks and do not cross over to other Vaporesso sockets. On a newer kit you will want GTi coils for the iTank, GTX for Luxe and Armour pod kits, GTR for the FORZ tank or SKRR QF for the SKRR tank, all in the full Vaporesso coil range.
