The OXVA Xlim Pro 3 is the flagship in the Xlim pod kit range for 2026. The OXVA Xlim Pro 3, often shortened to the OXVA Pro 3, is based around a 1500mAh battery, 5-30W variable output and a 1.05 inch HD colour screen. The Photon chipset is the headline upgrade.

Every Xlim Pro 3 comes with a pre-installed 0.6Ω V3 top-fill pod and a spare 0.8Ω V3 pod, both fitted with UniTech 2.0 mesh coils for richer flavour and longer coil life. The kit accepts every Xlim cartridge OXVA has produced.

Smart Wattage Control reads whichever pod you slot in and matches the output automatically, so you cannot fire a tight MTL pod at 30W by accident. The matching Xlim V3 replacement pods page keeps the kit topped up.

Photon Chipset and Smart Wattage Control

The Photon chipset is what sets the Xlim Pro 3 apart from cheaper pod kits. As lithium-ion batteries discharge, output voltage drops and most pod kits start delivering thinner vapour and weaker flavour from around 40% battery onward. The Photon chipset compensates by adjusting the power curve in real time, holding flavour at approximately 80% strength even when the battery indicator hits 20%. It is the difference between a pod kit that tastes great for the first half of the day and one that tastes consistent right up to the charge.

The 1.05 inch HD colour screen, OXVA’s OneScan display, shows wattage, pod resistance, battery percentage and puff count on one panel. Smart Wattage Control reads the resistance of whichever Xlim pod you slot in and sets a safe wattage automatically. Drop a 1.2Ω tight-MTL pod in and the Xlim Pro 3 will not let you fire it at 30W, which protects the coil and your e-liquid from burning. The chipset is keyed to the full 0.4Ω to 1.2Ω Xlim coil range, so the same kit handles tight MTL, regular MTL, RDL and loose RDL without you needing to memorise wattage settings.

Xlim Pod Compatibility and Airflow Control

OXVA Xlim Pro 3 pods are interchangeable across the V2, V3 and EZ ranges. Any spare OXVA Xlim Pro 3 vape pod from the wider Xlim catalogue will fit this chassis.

The Xlim Pro 3 is fully backwards compatible with every Xlim cartridge OXVA has produced. V2 side-fill pods, V3 top-fill pods and EZ pods all click straight into the magnetic dock without adapters or workarounds. If you are upgrading from an older Xlim vape kit, your existing pods carry across to the Pro 3 and will still work with whatever Xlim hardware OXVA releases next.

The two pods supplied in the box are V3 top-fill cartridges fitted with UniTech 2.0 mesh coils. UniTech 2.0 gives around 50% more flavour and approximately 30% longer coil life than the V2 mesh. You fill from the top of the pod without removing it from the device, which keeps fingers off the coil and the kit pocket-clean.

Quick Button Controls and the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Red Square Display

The OXVA Xlim Pro 3 uses a single fire button:

• 5 clicks – turn the device on or off
• 3 clicks – step through the wattage
• 2 clicks – open the menu for screen themes, LED colour and the puff counter
• 4 clicks – lock the fire button (auto-draw still works while locked)
• 1 click – fire the device when unlocked

If a red square appears on the OXVA Xlim Pro 3 screen, the Photon chipset has flagged a pod fault. To clear it:

• Lift the pod out and wipe the magnetic contacts with a dry cloth
• Click the pod firmly back into place
• If the red square stays, fit a fresh Xlim V3 or EZ pod and Smart Wattage Control will set a safe starting wattage

The 1.05 inch HD colour display also supports three customisable themes, including a classic readout and a MOMO Superman animation that plays whenever you take a draw. Themes change inside the two-click menu. Brightness peaks at 300 nits so the screen stays legible outdoors and in direct sunlight.

OXVA Xlim Pro 3 Battery Life and Charging

The 1500mAh internal battery is sized to carry a typical MTL vaper through a full day of use. With the 0.8Ω or 1.2Ω pods at 12-18W you can expect a comfortable all-day charge; with the 0.4Ω pod at 30W and a heavier RDL draw the battery will drain faster. The OneScan screen shows the exact battery percentage rather than a four-bar indicator, so you always know how much charge is left before the next top-up.

USB-C 5V/2A fast charging brings the battery from empty to roughly 80% in 30 minutes and to full in about 50 minutes. The charge port is on the base of the chassis, so the Xlim Pro 3 charges flat on a desk rather than upright.
