Sakerz Coils 3 Pack

The HorizonTech Sakerz replacement coils are mesh DTL coils sold in packs of three, designed for use in the Sakerz and Sakerz Master sub-ohm tanks. There are three variants in the range covering different wattage levels and draw styles, all using a press-fit installation that requires no threading.

They are recommended with 70% VG or higher e-liquid. The horizon tech sakerz coils range is sometimes referred to as horizontech sakerz coils, horizon sakerz coils, or simply sakerz coils – all names refer to the same product.

Coil Variants

Three variants are available, each sold as a pack of 3:

• 0.16ohm mesh coil, rated at 70W. Single mesh, highest vapour output in the range, faster e-liquid consumption. The sakerz coils 0.16 pack suits vapers who want maximum cloud production and are happy topping up more frequently.
• 0.17ohm 2-in-1 mesh coil, rated at 70W. Dual-layer mesh design, widely considered the flagship Sakerz coil. The sakerz coils 0.17 pack delivers a balance of flavour and vapour that many vapers prefer for day-to-day use.
• 0.4ohm mesh coil, rated at 40W. Cooler and slightly more restricted DTL draw, lower wattage requirement. The sakerz coils 0.4 pack suits vapers who want a less intense DTL experience or are running a lower-powered mod.

Installation

All Sakerz coils use a threadless press-fit system. Unscrew the base of the tank from the glass section, pull out the old coil using the wrench tool supplied with the tank, and press the new coil into place until it seats. Reattach the base and you’re ready to go. Before vaping on a new coil, add e-liquid and let it sit for a few minutes so the mesh is fully saturated. This avoids a dry hit on the first pull.

Tank Compatibility

These coils are compatible with both the HorizonTech Sakerz tank and the HorizonTech Sakerz Master tank. They are not compatible with earlier HorizonTech tanks in the Falcon range. If you’re unsure which tank you have, check the name printed on the base or the box it came in. Both the Sakerz and Sakerz Master are currently listed on Vapeology.

E-Liquid Guide

All three coil variants perform best with 70% VG or higher e-liquid. High-VG shortfills and freebase e-liquids in the 70-80% VG range are the standard choice for sub-ohm DTL setups like this. Thinner 50/50 e-liquids can flood the coil and shorten its life. Nicotine salt e-liquids are not typically recommended for sub-ohm DTL use as the higher wattage and vapour volume make standard nic salt strengths too harsh to inhale comfortably.
