Vaporesso XROS 6 Pod Kit

The Vaporesso XROS 6 is the latest pod kit in the XROS series, bringing a 1800mAh battery, VENTURI airflow, COREX 3.0 mesh pods, and a 0.88-inch TFT screen to the range. Output runs up to 30W with two quick-draw modes and adjustable airflow covering MTL and RDL vaping styles. The XROS 6 takes the full XROS pod range from 0.4ohm through to 1.2ohm, so if you are upgrading from any older XROS kit your existing pods carry straight over. Eleven colour options are available across zinc alloy and aluminium alloy body finishes.

What’s New Over the XROS 5

The XROS 6 makes five meaningful upgrades over the XROS 5. The battery grows from 1500mAh to 1800mAh, which gets most MTL vapers comfortably through a full day. VENTURI airflow replaces the standard adjustable airflow on the XROS 5, channelling air more efficiently through the pod for a noticeably smoother and more intense draw. Anti-Leaking v2.0 improves on the previous leak resistance system, and charging moves to 9V/2A USB-C for faster top-ups than the XROS 5’s 5V/3A.

The included pods also change: the XROS 6 ships with a 0.4ohm and 0.6ohm COREX 3.0 pair rather than the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm combination that came with the XROS 5. Output stays at 30W and pod compatibility remains unchanged across the full XROS range, so everything you already own carries over.

XROS Pod Compatibility

The XROS 6 is compatible with every pod in the XROS range, including both COREX 3.0 and older COREX 2.0 pods. The 0.4ohm COREX 3.0 is suited to RDL vaping with 50/50 or higher-VG e-liquids. The 0.6ohm covers the middle ground between RDL and MTL and is the most versatile option in the range. The 0.8ohm COREX 3.0 delivers a comfortable MTL draw. The 1.0ohm and 1.2ohm XROS pods move into tighter MTL territory and pair best with nic salts at 10mg or 20mg. All five resistances are available separately at Vapeology.

60-Second Coil Priming

The XROS 6 introduces 60-second coil priming, which means dropping in a fresh pod and waiting one minute before the first draw is enough to saturate the mesh coil. Most pod kits recommend five to ten minutes of priming time before vaping on a new coil. The one-minute figure is specific to COREX 3.0 pods and is a result of Vaporesso’s mesh construction holding less dry cotton surface area than conventional coil designs. It does not apply to older XROS pods, which should still be primed for three to five minutes before use.
