Description
Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 Vape Kit
The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 is the most powerful kit in the Vaporesso XROS series to date, pairing a 2000mAh battery with a 65g magnesium alloy chassis that stays pocket-light through a full day of use. The XROS Pro 2 vape kit spans 5W to 30W across three power modes, driven by a 0.96 inch TFT colour screen and the COREX 3.0 Hive Mesh pod platform.
The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 Pod Kit comes with two refillable pods, a 0.4 ohm pod for cloud-leaning RDL hits and a 0.6 ohm pod that sits neatly between loose MTL and light RDL. Existing XROS owners keep their pod investment as well: every legacy COREX 2.0 pod across the wider XROS pod range fits the Pro 2 chassis.

Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 Battery and Charging
The headline upgrade is the jump from 1200mAh on the original Pro to 2000mAh on the XROS Pro 2, with no weight penalty. Vaporesso has based the kit on a magnesium alloy frame to hold it at approximately 65g, lighter than most 1500mAh competitors on the UK pod kit market.
Most XROS Pro 2 vape kit owners will see around two days of moderate use between charges. Heavy RDL sessions on the 0.4 ohm pod will pull the battery down faster, so a top-up over lunch keeps the kit firing through evening sessions. Lighter MTL use on a 1.0 or 1.2 ohm pod can stretch a single charge across three days.
USB-C 2A fast charging takes the battery from empty to full in approximately 50 minutes. Pass-through is supported, so the XROS Pro 2 fires while plugged in if a session can’t wait. A short LED at the base of the screen confirms charge status during top-ups.
Standard, Pulse and Super Pulse Power Modes
Three power modes sit behind the fire button on the 0.6 ohm and above pods. Standard mode locks the wattage at whatever the user dials in, ideal for vapers who want total control of the draw temperature.
Pulse mode delivers a short power boost at the start of each draw before settling to the set wattage. The result is a quicker flavour ramp without raising overall power, useful for nic salt vapers who want a sharper top note on the inhale.
Super Pulse continuously trims the wattage curve so the draw at 100% battery feels identical to the draw at 5%. The fade-out that affects smaller pod kits as the battery drains is engineered out, which keeps flavour and vapour density consistent across the full charge cycle. Across the XROS Pro 2 vape kit wattage range of 5W to 30W, Super Pulse holds the chosen output until the battery enters its final 5% window.
COREX 3.0 Hive Mesh Pods and Compatibility
The included 0.4 ohm and 0.6 ohm pods use Vaporesso’s Hive Mesh coil structure, branded COREX 3.0. On the XROS Pro 2, the honeycomb pattern increases heating surface area against the wick. This Vaporesso rates at approximately 40% more aroma intensity and around 30% smoother airflow than COREX 2.0.
Pods are top-fill with a silicone-sealed plug and SSS leak resistance against pocket spills. Refills are available across the full resistance range as COREX 3.0 refill pods.
Backward pod compatibility is the standout XROS Pro 2 feature for existing XROS owners. The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 takes the full XROS pod range across both generations, COREX 2.0 pods and the newer COREX 3.0 Hive Mesh pods both fit the same chassis. The 2.0 and 3.0 difference is the coil generation inside the pod, not the pod fit itself.

0.96 Inch TFT Display and Button Controls
A 0.96 inch colour TFT screen replaces the basic LED row used on older XROS pod kits. The display shows live wattage in 0.1W increments, remaining battery, puff counter, coil resistance and active power mode.
An adjustment wheel below the screen sets wattage in standard mode, and a long-press resets the puff counter for vapers tracking session use. A two-click shortcut locks the screen against accidental presses in a pocket or bag.
Auto-Draw or Button-Fire Activation
The Vaporesso XROS Pro 2 fires through both auto-draw and a side manual button by default, with either input triggering the coil. A short five-click lockout disables the auto-draw sensor for vapers who prefer button-only firing, and the same lockout cycles back to auto-draw on demand.
On the XROS Pro 2, the side fire button stays active across both modes. The result is that MTL inhalers on a 1.0 ohm pod and RDL users on a 0.4 ohm pod can use the same kit without trading control off. The five-click power lock doubles as a transport lock for pocket carry.
How to Use the Vaporesso XROS Pro 2
- Lift the pod from the device, open the top-fill plug and fill with nic salt or 50/50 juice to match the pod resistance.
- Reseat the pod and leave it to prime for 3 to 5 minutes before the first vape.
- Press the fire button five times to switch the kit on; the 0.96 inch TFT screen lights up.
- Press three times to cycle Standard, Pulse and Super Pulse modes, and set the wattage with the up and down keys.
- Inhale on auto-draw or hold the side button to vape, and recharge over USB-C when the screen shows low battery.
